Sales Careers

We're looking for technically-savvy sales people to work in our brokerage division. DomainNameSales' brokerage department is the core of our business. As we grow, we want to maintain a high level of service to our clients. We want brokers who understand the domain industry, and people who enjoy a challenge.

Inside Technical Sales

We imagine you to be well-spoken, well-written, and with better-than-average computer skills. We'd like candidates with a college education or other relevant experience. You should be comfortable using and talking about the internet, comfortable using a Mac, and able to use Microsoft Word and Excel.

Working as a DomainNameSales broker requires excellent communication skills, both on the phone and in email. Our brokers need to be able to close phone sales and manage an inquiry stream using our custom CRM system.

A tech background is always preferred, but we'll consider automotive and real estate as well. Compensation is based on experience and results. Brokers receive a base salary, commissions on sales, and full benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to worldwide leads using a variety of media - phone, email, Skype, et al.
  • Handle a large volume of inbound/outbound communications

Design Careers

One of the most challenging aspects of the domain name industry is putting a face on an intangible product. As DomainNameSales and its sister company, Uniregistry, grow, the design team is tasked with making domain names accessible and appealing to the average person. We're looking for talented digital multimedia artists with front-end JavaScript development skills.

Web Designer

We imagine a web designer who goes past the limits of what can be achieved with Photoshop and Wordpress. Someone with a keen eye for current and future design trends, and a willingness to surpass common expectations. We want designers with the power to create a user experience that doesn't just look good, but feels good too. This is an exciting opportunity to work on products and services at the forefront of a new digital era.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in a team to develop new products and features
  • Design and develop new site content, microsites, and more
  • Create icons and graphics for web use
  • Design user experience aspects of new products
  • Create animations and transitions that assist content flow
  • Create mockups of proposed features
  • Incorporate business logic and technical challenges into designs

Requirements:

  • Multiple years experience with Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Ability to create stunning web graphics
  • Well-versed in the HTML5 spec
  • Mastry of CSS3 features and selectors

We're looking for someone to help develop and upkeep our web properties. Our ideal candidate has experience with modern MVC frameworks, version control systems (Git, SVN, Mercurial), and agile software development. Should understand internet architecture, and be comfortable in an environment that iterates quickly.
