Michael is spot on in his sniffing/feeling the "The “change always in the wind” and “not necessarily a parking co” part".

How many times, Frank, have you wished you could say F*&K this Sh*T...GFY...to All Aggregators and G&Y?

I WANT TO KNOW WHO IS GETTING MY TRAFFIC AND HOW MUCH THEY ARE PAYING - my AggreVator, for it and what exact percentage (I AM GETTING SCREWED OUT OF) I get for every click!

How many times over the past 5 years has this "not necessarily a parking co" idea been tossed around...in the 2 Forums you and I frequent most ~ TTF and DBR. A dozen times?

Until the core domainers (come together and create it, or, a single Pro domainer advocate (former Aggregator or registrar) with a backend to build us a site ~

That takes the aggregation idea and flips it around so that...we choose, and allocate, who may have use of our traffic - and how much, they, have to pay for it, and build our own backend for Advertisers to bid for it, directly from us, we'll always get the short end of the PPC% stick, and be in the dark afa payout transparency.

The wind is blowing and all domainers are sick of it...but are they sick enough to do something about it...sick enough to pull their traffic in unison/protest or do something that will put an end to it?

What would Google and Yahoo do, if we all stopped using them.?

I only do strictly PPC with a few domains so its easy for me to have that point of view...

Its people and Co.s with 1000's, 10's or 100's of thousands, of domains, that are reticent to take the leap...and until you can take that leap ~away from them (Aggregators)...(when something is in place that takes back the control of who gets the traffic, and how much they have to pay, and puts it in our hands ...things will remain the same.

The public hates Advertising and that is one of the main reasons (if not the Main Reason) Direct Navigation exists. TO BYPASS ADVERTISERS

All it would take is a traffic bidding platform and traffic distribution network, with an automated site builder that pops out the resulting page, according to who bids (and how much they pay for the traffic-determining their Ad placement on the page [Hot Spot centric advertising])(and each traffic bidder (on the page) pays for EACH pair of eyes that [sees] his ad (on the page)

Advertisers have been getting a FREE ride the way it is...now

As it is...they don't pay (us) anything, unless someone clicks, while they continually gain visibility by being seen consciously or sub-consciously by everyone that visits the page, whether their Ad is clicked or not.

I SAY NO MORE FREE RIDE

They should have to pay for that visibility, and "we" should be paid, for creating the possibility for them to be seen (EACH TIME THEY ARE SEEN), and/or clicked.

They should have to pay, a Minimum basic page inclusion cost, just for being listed on the page.
PERIOD

In no other Advertising medium do Advertisers get off scott free for so much, visibility.

This Model I propose, is where "we" should be heading....this is the direction the wind is blowing.

The Traditional Old School Advertising Model is DEAD

LONG LIVE DIRECT NAVIGATION DOMAINS

Put the control in our hands and give us(a way for Advertisers to bid on our traffic) and push for a unified decision by ALL domainers to migrate toward it(and away from Aggregators or Direct Contract deals with G&Y....and we could have them coming to us, instead of us going to them (G&Y and Aggregators).

A combination of that platform and a coordinated ongoing effort by ALL domainers, to teach visitors, how to search via direct navigation, rather than thru the top SE's...would sure as hell shake things up and put virtually All the profit from (our risk, time, knowledge, development and investment) in our pockets, instead of theirs.

And if, we also did this via a platform, that also had our own merged Search Engine, that filtered visitors searches, by Intent, "we" and CUSTOMERS would have it all.
