Webmaster Radio Interview

Webmaster Radio Interview

Mic I recorded this interview with Moniker’s Monte Cahn for his WebmasterRadio.fm show back on March 21st. It will take about 10 minutes to download into your browser, but if you’re curious about the domain industry and you have an hour to let the interview play in the background, you may pick up on some things that can be used to help grow your own business.  Happy Listening.

There’s also a video interview of you on domain sponsor that’s pretty cool:

I’ve been waiting to download that one. I thought they’d never get it up there….

Enjoyed your enthusiasm a lot… thanks for opening up like this, you’re making this industry more fun and interesting among other good things.

***FS*** I hope you find something useful that helps you. Thanks very much Eric.

Thanks for posting the link and giving the interview Frank!

Your decision to open up has been a huge breakthrough for the entire domain industry.

Since you’ve launched your blog, my optimism for the domain industry has been exponentially higher.

Keep up the great work… The future is looking very bright for those who get domains! :)

***FS*** Thanks for that Colin.. I don’t want people to be mislead that this business is on a perfectly linear upward trajectory. There will be setbacks. But I believe in the space. Domain names are the only thing with true burn-down value on the net.

Great Interview – had to listen to it twice so I did not miss anything. You can spout stuff off and think nothing of it and I have a Christmas tree of lights going off with a lot of “Ahhh Haaa!” moments – thanks Frank! And Thanks to Tia for helping to plant the seed of this blog along with Frank’s wife. You can tell your wife that you are giving back to the community big time!

    Cheers from Canada

    Eric

***FS*** Thanks Eric.. For the first time since starting my blog, Michele has said to me, “You are doing something really worth-while when you can make fpeople feel better about the industry / themselves like that” (based on you comment)… anyway thanks sincerely :)

    Hi Frank,

    Two questions regarding this interview:

    1) You mentioned keyword arbitrage a few times. Do you currently use this strategy, if not, do you plan on using it in the near future?

    2) How effective are .net’s with arbitrage? I’ve noticed you’ve got quite a few .net’s in your portfolio and I was wondering if you bought a few (or all) specifically to use for arbitrage

I love the blog, keep it up!

    Best regards,
    Edwin Sherman

***FS*** I like good .nets because in America it’s a viable #2 to .com .. I have recently started arbitrage and think it is very promissing.. It will eventually be half my revenue once we get it scaled. Very very early experimental phase at the moment. Great questions btw about the .nets/arb

Frank, heard the interview on Webmaster.FM
and it came across to me that you and Monte have great respect for each other. Also sounds like he was lookin’ for another box of (“RumCakes”.com) for his staff !!
    thanks for giving………Ed – Michigan
