New “Error Search Takeover” based on Navigation Shaping Download App?

Not dumping on Dave Ulevitch (who seems like a decent guy) ..  but navigation needs to be universally authoritative,  even if we don’t necessarily love what we get once we arrive.  I don’t dig error search takeovers in navigation-shaping clothing.

Navigation_shaping_2 Quote: "If a user gets logged out accidentally or regularly deletes browser cookies, then attempting to use keywords in the address bar will redirect him or her to an OpenDNS search page with a list of search results based on that keyword."

I agree with you in regards to Google/MS being the default.

But changing to OpenDNS requires effort. I’m happier when I get an error page than a PPC page.

***FS*** me too funny enough.. 404error lets me know that i made a mistake.. Search is search.. it’s more wholesome.
